Primavera P6 CPM Scheduling

Taradigm’s experts specialize in providing Critical Path Method (CPM) scheduling services. We apply our depth of experience, Primavera expertise, and industry best practices to develop initial baseline schedules. Throughout the course of your project, we will review and apply regular updates to these schedules. Taradigm can also provide both forensic and prospective Time Impact Analysis during your project. Baseline Schedule Development

A project’s baseline schedule is used to measure deviations from an original plan or update. Cost and resource loaded schedules are often used to project anticipated expenditures, resource planning, and invoicing events. Our experienced schedulers and Primavera P6 experts will work with your team to develop an optimized schedule for initial submission, change orders, claims support and project delivery.

Time Impact Analysis

A Time Impact Analysis (TIA) is an analysis done to determine and quantify the effects of unplanned events. A TIA is performed by doing a prospective examination of your schedule against a baseline schedule. Often, liquidated damages, contract extensions, and monetary incentives are at stake. Our scheduling claims team will expertly evaluate project contract documents. These documents often include schedule revisions and produce detailed reports and narratives.

Schedule Updates

Schedule updates are performed by our experienced schedulers with input from your project team. Typically, updates are delivered electronically by your project team to us. We will then incorporate the changes you’ve made and create a new baseline. We then analyze the data for errors and optimize each update to ensure that your schedule is maintained and accurate.

Scheduling Claims and Litigation

Our consultants can provide a thorough analysis of your project schedule to support a scheduling claim or your case in a litigation. We compare the initial schedule baseline against actual completed work to reconcile who is responsible for delays.

Taradigm’s consultants have over 10 years of experience implementing Primavera P6 Professional and Primavera P6 Enterprise and can assist you at any stage of your project implementation. Our method is focused on user enablement with an iterative approach that is designed to set clear expectations. Taradigm consultants work with you to identify milestones and deliverables and to establish a communication protocol that mitigates unwanted conditions. Before we begin implementing Primavera P6 into your business process, our consultants guide you through all of the necessary steps and procedures. This includes a discovery phase, a configuration phase, and a delivery phase. After Primavera P6 and its system architecture is deployed, we continue to support your users as a reliable technical resource.

Discovery

Typical Duration: 1– 2 days

The first step of any implementation is the Discovery Workshop. The objective of this phase is to develop and document an understanding of the current conditions, end-state goals and how to get there. This workshop answers the fundamental questions of how much the implementation will cost, how long it will take, and the measurable steps to get there.

The journey doesn’t end with the final sign-off, the initial production phase is an opportunity to start realizing a return on your investment.
