Even if you don’t consider yourself a beginner, taking a structured Bluebeam Revu training course can help you effectively integrate the program into your work. An issue that busy professionals run into is finding the time to attend a training course. Learning even just the core features of Bluebeam Revu can take hours, and attending a training course often requires you to take at least a full day off from work. If you are in need of Bluebeam Revu training, but don’t have the time or patience to sit through an 8 hour course, there is now a solution: Bluebeam Revu Self-Paced Training.

Our Bluebeam Revu Self-Paced Training is a collection of training modules authored by a Bluebeam Certified Instructor that are available anytime and anywhere. Each training module focuses on a specific Revu feauture or workflow and includes both a lecture and a hands-on exercise.  All lectures and exercises can be viewed and performed within our virtual learning environment. There is no software installation needed, so even if you don’t yet have Bluebeam Revu on your computer, you can still learn how to use the program.

How it Works

Each training module features a lecture, spanning around 10-15 minutes in length, in which a Bluebeam instructor explains and demonstrates how to perform specific actions in the program. The lecture is then followed by a related hands-on exercise in a virtual environment. The execise gives a list of prompts to complete and it advances as you complete each step.

If you ever forget which button to click in an exercise, you will be shown the correct selection. After several incorrect clicks, the virtual environment will provide a pop up hint to help guide you – so you don’t need to worry about ever getting lost while completing the exercises.

Modules are ordered for beginners, and a beginner may opt to take all the modules in order, whereas more advanced users may choose to skip around. It’s completely up to you which modules you want to take and order that you take them.

The Bluebeam Revu Self-Paced Training is a subscription service that will be continually updated with new lessons and exercises. By signing up for the subscription service, you will have immediate access to all currently available lectures and exercises, along with access to future lessons as they become available.

Advantages to Self-Paced Training

The concept of a self-paced training course may be unfamiliar to some, but there are many benefits to this type of training. Compared to more conventional training courses, our Bluebeam Revu Self-Paced training course offers many advantages  in terms of productivity, efficiency, and overall learning processes. For those questioning what type of training course is best suited for them, here are six advantages to taking a self-paced training course over a conventional, live course.

1. Learn Revu on your own time

Live training courses require you to clear up a considerable portion of your work day to attend – in fact, most Bluebeam Revu training courses clock in at around 8 hours, which would take you away from work for an entire day. For a lot of busy individuals, this is just too much time to take off all at once. With our self-paced training course, however, you get to decide how much time to put in each day. Even if you only have 15 minutes, you can still complete a full lecture or exercise. You’ll then be able to continue right where you left off when you’re ready to start again. Additionally, there’s no need to worry about waking up early to attend your training course, as it’s completely up to you when training begins and ends. You get to decide your own training schedule – whenever, wherever, and for how ever long you want.

2. Focus on only the lessons you need

Active users of Bluebeam Revu may already know how to perform many common actions and workflows before taking a training course. In conventional Revu training courses, these users may have to sit through hours of instruction on processes they’re already familiar with, wasting time and money. An advantage of our Self-Paced Bluebeam Revu Training is that you get to choose which lessons to take. No longer will you have to sit through information you already know – now, you can focus solely on the lessons you need.

3. Continuous access to lessons

A common issue users have after taking a conventional training course is forgetting some of the material that they learned. By signing up for the Bluebeam Revu Self-Paced Training, you will have continuous access to all lessons, even ones that you have already completed. If you forget a process or which buttons to click, you can simply reopen the specific lecture or exercise as a refresher.

4. Never get lost during an exercise

Unless you’re participating in a private course, conventional training courses often involve a number of other students. If you’re not tech-savvy, you might find yourself getting lost or needing more time to do hands-on exercises. Our Bluebeam Revu Self-Paced Training exercises are designed to enforce material learned in lectures without any tricks or time constraints. If after 3 attempts a step is not completed correctly, the exercise will guide you to the right selection, so you get to experience performing the workflow correctly.

5. No need to pay for additional training courses

Bluebeam Revu has so many different tools and features that it would be difficult to include them all within one single training course. For this reason, companies often offer a variety of courses that focus on a few of these features. Learning all of the workflows you need may require you to take several conventional training courses, costing you even more time and money. Our Bluebeam Revu Self Paced Training is an ever growing library of lessons, with new lessons added monthly. By signing up for the subscription, you will have access to all Bluebeam Revu lessons available, from the core features to advanced workflows, without having to take supplement courses.

6. No software installation required

Traditional Bluebeam Revu training courses require you to have a recent version of the program installed to participate. With our Bluebeam Revu Self-Paced training course, you do not need to have Bluebeam Revu installed on your computer, as all lectures and exercises are viewed and performed within a virtual environment. All you need to participate in the course is a computer and internet connection, making it easy to view lessons from anywhere, at any time.

The Bluebeam Revu Self-Paced Training course is currently available for both annual and monthly subscriptions. Each subscription will give you access to all current lectures and exercises, along with any future lessons, as they are added.
