In Bluebeam Revu, custom headers and footers can be added to single or multiple PDF documents. Headers and footers allow you to include additional information in the top and bottom margins of the page, such as the document title, revision number, or creation date.

This article will outline how to add and edit custom headers and footers for PDF documents in Bluebeam Revu 20. The following examples are taken using x64 Bluebeam Revu 20 eXtreme edition, but the functionalities are available in all versions of Revu.

To add a header or footer to the active PDF, select Document > Headers and Footers > Add.

The Batch: Header and Footer window will open. The open document will appear within the list, allowing you to choose which pages to apply the header/footer to. Additional documents can be also added in this window to apply headers or footers to multiple documents and pages at once.

Once all desired documents and pages have been added, select Next.

The Header and Footer section features six text boxes, each representing the left, right, and center areas of the top and bottom page margins. These fields can be populated with custom text, which can be useful for inserting your company’s name or address onto the document. The Preview window will automatically update as fields are populated.
